Influence of early microbial colonisation and the IκB transcription co-factor Bcl3 on intestinal immune homeostasis

Kohler, AC;

The first part of the study demonstrates that reduced gut microbiome diversity during weaning affects intestinal homeostasis and the severity of food allergy later in life. The second part demonstrates that a Bcl3 knockout in Tregs leads to an expanded RORγt+Helios pTreg population and the development of an unusual RORγt+Helios+DPTreg population. RNA sequencing revealed altered cytokine signaling in Bcl3-deficient Tregs     .
