Immunization and EAE induction

EAE was induced in WT or Nlrx1^/ female mice as previously described [50]. A mixture of MOG₃₅₅₅ (Genemed Synthesis, San Antonio, TX), CFA (Sigma-Aldrich, St. Louis, MO), and Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37 RA (Difco Laboratories, Detroit, MI) was injected subcutaneously into mice, with each mouse receiving a total of 200 µg MOG₃₅₅₅ and 500 µg Mycobacterium.
