Product: Cholera Toxin B Subunit (Choleragenoid) from Vibrio cholerae in Low Salt

  • ON Injury

ON crush surgery and intraocular injections were performed under general anesthesia. The mice received either 6.4 μg or 25 μg of zymosan 5 days prior and immediately after ON crush into the vitreous. At 5 days prior to sacrifice, CTB (3 μL, 1%; 103B, List Biological) was injected as an anterograde tracer. For C57BL/6 control n = 5; 6.4 μg n = 4; 25 μg n = 5. For CAST/Ei control n = 4; 6.4 μg n = 4; 25 μg n = 6. Quantification was performed blinded to the treatment and mouse strain.

Product: Cholera Toxin (AZIDE-FREE) from Vibrio cholerae

  • Experimental design:

Sensitization and challenge of mice were performed as described by Lpez-Expsito et al.17 BALB/c and C3H/HeOuJ mice (5 per group) were sensitized once per week for 6 weeks, by gavage with 2 different doses of OVA-LPS-free (1 and 5 mg) dissolved in 0.5 mL of 0.2 M bicarbonate with 10 µg of cholera toxin (CT) (List Biologicals, Campbell, CA, USA). Nave mice received 10 µg of CT in 0.5 mL of bicarbonate. …

Product: Cholera Toxin (AZIDE-FREE) from Vibrio cholerae

  • Materials:

Azide-free CT from V. cholere Inaba 569B was obtained from List Biological Laboratories (Campbell, CA). …

    cAMP assay:

Caco-2 cells (7.0 × 105 cells/2 mL medium) were seeded in 6-well plastic plates. One week later, the cells were washed twice with PBS and exposed for 30 min–2.5 mM HEPES buffer containing 0.5 µg/mL of GM1 or in the absence of GM1. Subsequently, the cells were washed twice, and then CT and 1 mM IBMX were added to the cultured cells in 2 mL of 0.01% BSA in 2.5 mM HEPES buffer containing peptide P3 (50 nM/mL or 50 µM) or in the absence of P3. …
