    Stereotaxic Injections

    Mice were anesthetized with isoflurane (0.5–2.0%) and placed in a stereotactic frame (Kopf 1900 or 940). We made a midline incision and retracted the skin to expose the bregma and the skull over the brain. Through a pulled glass micropipette (20–30–μm inner diameter), we injected Fluorogold (FG), cholera toxin subunit B (CTb), or an AAV (Table 2).
