Induction and clinical evaluation of disease:

For active EAE induction, mice were immunized s.c. with 100-150 mg PLP139151 or myelin oligodendrocyte glycoproteins (MOG) 3555 emulsied in CFA; 0.15 mg pertussis toxin (List Biological, Campbell, CA) was injected i.p. in 200 ml saline on days 0 and 2.
